Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Vickie Violi has been bringing people together for weddings and corporate events for more than eight years.

Her interpersonal skills and unique understanding of human nature were honed at LaRoche College, where she majored in psychology and planned more than a few successful social functions. From there, she embarked on a career in event planning that has connected her to Fortune 500 companies, national non-profits, local and regional companies, major health care institutions, and more. 

Her wide range of experience includes Project Coordinator at PAARC (Pittsburgh Adolescent Alcohol Research Center); Manager, Special Events/Government Relations at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, and Corporate Events Manager at PNC.

She has successfully planned high-profile events for PNC at the 2007 U.S. Open at Oakmont; Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Bonsai Bash – which was attended by more than 1,000 people and raised over $4.2 million; and Shop to Stop Domestic Violence, which increased fund-raising over 400% under her supervision. She has also been involved in Pittsburgh Celebrates Glass, Dinosaur Gala, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Girls Hope, Sweet 16, Central Blood Bank, The Pittsburgh Creche, CASA, Girls Hope Pittsburgh, and many other non-profits. Additionally Vickie has orchestrated numerous weddings and private events.
